Southeastern, IL | My dad went out this moring and said he found 2 coons dead between the corn and bean bins. Latter this afternoon while mom was mowing the yard she found her favorite cat dead about 50 feet from the house. I am very puzzled to what killed them. All of the animals hair was matted down the cats was the worst. The cat and one of the coons had hardly a scratch on them and i counld not find any puncture wounds, just some hair missing on the back leg. The other coon had a small hole tore in his abdomen and one of his leggs tore up very little. We found one other coon the other day dead in the back yard but just figured that the dog brought up a present. Just cant figure out what would of killed 2 coons that were laying 20 feet from each other and a cat that is very fast and a very good hunter, he would always catch mice and birds. Any ideas? Thanks. Im ready to find out what did it and give it a taste of some lead. | |
