You can flash graze the tops off early then let them grow back. Turnips are a very rich feed so make sure they have some hay or grass or corn stalks to go with them. This time of year you will want to strip graze them. Mabe about one week at a time. If it gets wet and muddy keepem out because they will just tramp them into the ground.
