SE IL | I don't know of who you speak. However, I do believe you are correct in your final paragraph. NO established govt wants to allow for food shortages-not if they want to remain in power anyway. There is no telling what a govt will pay for food-I suppose whatever it takes. One difference from 08 that I perceive is that we hadn't collapsed the financial system then-so I don't know if we'll get that high-but we may in reality be shorter real cropwise than then. Just a few thoughts. :) | |
