North Central Illinois | Well WTF else is new? We have had a spending problem for forty years. The problem is that the hole is so big now that you can't cut spending enough to get out of the hole without causing rioting in the streets. There is only one way you are ever going to fill that hole and that unfortunately is taxes. Yes, absolutely spending needs to be brought under control or raising taxes is useless. I'm a republican and no fan of taxes but I'm also a realist. You and I don't disagree that there is a spending problem. | |
