Thumb of Michigan
Had a neighbor do the board and nail thing 20 yrs ago. Worked on the trespassers once. He got to fix tires from the dirt bikers nail in board deals for 5 yrs after. I don't know if they finally grew up or got bored, but it did back fire on the neighbor big time.

When we've had problems, there usually was a pattern that developed. Every day at 4 (out of school?) or every Saturday morning or whatever. Also, not sure of the lay out of the problem field- is there a gate they have to pass through? If its just out in the open, it'll take a few helpers to get them rounded up if they don't want to cooperate. Does the local law have any interest in lending a hand?
