I was just pointing out almost all Departments have agreements with each other.  Oh, and there really are large area's with no fire protection at all.

"Here" the biggest town actually combined with the County Fire Department. One large department. There are 2-3 smaller incorportated towns with all volunteer departments. They are every bit as professional as the paid variety, and just as fast if not faster at responding.
