Instead of cutting at 90 degrees cut at a 45 degree angle to the weld and pull the torch (or push) into the weld. (Following motion) Cut a lot of welds away that way. Just watch where the molten metal flies to..... Didn't know they made an offset cutting tip for a torch.. do now.
