SE South Dakota
I am NOT addressing any of the emotional items here but I have to ask, anyone, why would leaving the scales on while driving across the field be hard on it? I think I know why some might suggest that it would be hard on the scale put I guessing the fact is that the scale shouldn't be damaged. What part would he think would be damaged? I would think alot more damage would be done by the fact of bounching up and down the field on the actual weighbars, but then again this damage would (could) happen the same, if the switch was on or off!

I've had a grain cart with a scale for a long time and the only problems I've had are loose connections in the junction box and weighbars going bad.

Thoughs, anybody.
