We have fire dues around here also and you have a tax that also goes to the fire dept through your property taxes. What kills me is we had a grain truck catch on fire and the local foundation savers showed up and couldnt figure out how to run there truck. They then showed up with a brush truck with a water tank and briggs and contraption pump on it. They pulled the rope out of the briggs and the grain truck burned to the ground. Im glad I paid my dues just to watch that circus. |
