Dave, that seems right to me also. We have a recently upgraded USCG DGPS tower about 30 miles north of our fields but we don't have any WAAS + Beacon receivers, only WAAS or SF. I think the local USCG DGPS tower is much closer than any of the WAAS or SF reference stations so it could give better DGPS performance here. Not sure if it's worth $1800 for new high quality WAAS + Beacon receiver to find out but it's on my to-do list. It's not high priority yet, WAAS is giving very good performance for EZSteer spraying and fertilizer spreading here now. Haven't tried EZSteer planting yet, but I'm certain we can use all the DGPS accuracy we can get for that, someday............
