Don,
I would agree with that if I understand it right. If you are close to a beacon tower and have good equipment you are going to be much more accurate. If you are close to a waas ground station (and elevation ok) and have good equipment you will be much more accurate. If you have the best scenario in both cases what is hard to determine which is more accurate (or is there a difference)? In our area we prefer the beacon (more accurate) over the waas and in 4 years the beacon tower has never been down when we needed it. My .02 c
