| Are you sure that was an 89, I thought that 87 was the last year for the 2-135. The 140 was made for a couple yrs then the 145.
The 140 or 145 would have the 5.9 cummins which would have taken care of most of the problems the 2-135 had. Only thing is that the 5.9 has no where near the torque that the Hercules has.
Hear is a pic of my dad's 1978 2-135. It was repainted before he bought it in 1992, no idea why it has a red stripe instead of the original grey. I always have thought that a shiny grey stripe White is one of the nicest looking tractors thats ever been built. This one isn't very shiny.
