Went from Bakersfield to Fresno once and was totally amazed at the diversity in crops grown there. Carrots by the semi load, nut trees by the thousands, vineyards that stretched for miles, alfalfa, you name it,it was probably growing there. Can't believe all the regulations and water issuses they have to deal with. My opinion is if California looses its agriculture, we will all be sorry.
