On some items the "wait to the last second to bid" strategy might work. But in my experience the serious ones use the program that will bid it up automatically. Like any auction, figure what you want to bid and put that in as your maximum bid. They'll notify you if you get it. Just remember too that there will be another one for sale so don't think you have to get this one.
