SESD | If your balance sheet has some strength as you indicate you could try getting a short term loan to cover the operating shortfall using the equity you have in equipment as collateral. Selling equipment only to turn around and replace it right away seems drastic unless you have some items you don't use much and would not miss. What's the point of building up the balance sheet if you can't leverage some of the assets when needed. I would venture to guess plenty of people have been in your position at some point in their careers.
