western NY | I remember going to a Farm Bureau convention about 15 years ago and it seemed like almost all the older guys who farmed in the days of corn pickers were missing arms, legs, fingers exc. I have always been carefull around the corn head there is just so much there that can pull you in if your not paying attention.
If you go on YouTube there is a movie put up by Iowa State from back in the 50's called Hands Off and tells all about corn picker accidents by the people that were involved. | |
