Was pretty wet on my clay soils. Water setting now. And only about 1/2 through this train of rain for tonite.
Tomorrow supposed to be a repeat. Would be devistating if the train hits the same spot.
I hear of hail falling just a few 10s of miles south of me. That would knock the snot out of beans at this stage.
Kind of a chiller on harvest. Rain doesn't dry away here this time of year in yellow clay, just sits in the clay. No heat, no crop pulling the moisture out. Just sits there.
The tile crew had to quite about 2:00 this afternoon. His parting words were, "See you next week hopffully.."
Hey, at least the Twins clinched the division title last nite.
