Sunflower State | I smacked a baby calf good a few years ago. Popped over a hill on a gravel road and there it was. Slammed the breaks and hit it about 35 mph coming off of about 55 or so. Broke some plastic stuff on the pickup and dented a fender where is head came around. Reckon his bell was rung good! Called the owner and told him what happened and to count calves soon. He was good enough to pay for a busted up grill. After the fact he said he could not even tell which calf had been hit. | |
