ECKS | Last fall I asked the same question. We implemented one this year for all employee's including myself and business partner. We have a labcorp in our area and it is very cheap. Basically I test everyone before busy season and that is it. Its part of the terms for employment and had a lawyer review it. Most of my guys are (social) drinkers but all know that if they drink before or during work that it is instant termination. Haven't had a problem yet. Lawyer told me that if an employee comes to me and tells me he has a problem that we can't terminate him until after he has recieved help and then relapsed but I hope I have better hiring skill then that. | |
