Boyd, WI | I agree with deereman, nothing much will change here until Mid May. We're just a drop in the bucket at times, but with outlets for us including 2 ethanol plants within 80 minutes, the river in Minneapolis, and lots of cows to feed, there'll have to be ridiculously slow planting progress through May 20. We too can apply Nitrogen whenever. If I could put a good guess out there, I'd say there's a 35 to 50% increase in acreage up here. Lots of people trying to jump in, and I'm sure it will make an interesting season. | |
