southern MN | Was close to several farmers pulling out of the one coop & hauling to the other 5 miles away - was a 12 cent gap for some time between them, wondered if it would grow to more.
Few years ago I heard the feed mill/coop was about empty, farmers were holding on to corn. They were a couple days of changing basis a nickel to a dime to loosen up some corn, then the Chicago price moved a few cents & enough moved grain to keep the basis solid. I think that would be different with delayed pricing.
