There "could' be a big crop. If large areas of Western Canada can actually seed something next spring. As I type this, much of south-central SK is under a 50-100mm rainfall warning. Even in my own area, there are many fields that need to dry out or there will be no '11 crop... At $520 I'll look at doing a forward price with a call option to take advantage of a possible upside... As long as that call option (4 months out) is less than $25/tonne it's cheap insurance. | |
