There is enough grain for all of 2007. No shortage. So, hard to get this year's prices to go up, so long as they feel enough will go in the ground for early 2008 needs.
I suspect futures prices will go up before current prices do? I think that will happen, but not a knee-jerk. Prices were bid high to get us to plant more. We did. No one need pay those high prices to get crop in the next 5 months - plenty out there. We are in a 'catch our breath' mode for a week or 2. Wait & see what the new crop really looks like. All over.
