E.Central MN | Anything's possible. But basis could also eat us alive and give us cash prices of $2.00 corn, $5.00 beans, and $2.50 wheat in the next 12 months. Given the size of the intended crop I'm inclined to think that basis is the first thing that grain buyers will use to wring $$$ away from producers even if futures go to the moon. When we have large crops back to back things get ugly at harvest. With this large of a crop it could get really really ugly. | |
