NEIN | the way it was because it hasn't been real for years. In a desperate attempt to maintain our standard of living by borrowing trillons, the government has managed to keep postponing the inevitable, a lower standard of living for the next and future generations. We have given away our absolute economic advantage in the world by buying into the one world order and economy BS. There are simply not enough cheap resources left on the planet to sustain the current world population anywhere near the standard of living we in the US are used to. Why Mr Williams and others don't comment on this baffles me, perhaps it is because they still just want to stick thier heads in the sand and ignore the real problem: to many people and to few goods. Havent they ever heard of "keeping it in the family". The US could still have it great but it would no doubt be at the expense of the countries who are poor in natural wealth. And that would be a moral debate not an economic one. | |
