Grabill, Indiana | We just pulled the trigger on 30% of our NC Corn at $3.87 and 50% of our NC Soybeans at $9.87 this morning. We didn't want this pricing and profit opportunity to elude us. If the prices keep going up we still have a portion of our crop yet to sell.
We used a conservative estimate of production, based on the way the soybeans look today we should have much more to sell. The corn is another story, the replants are looking pretty shabby and there is some nitrogen deficiency showing up in the full season corn.
