We have a "bed in a box". It came recommended on this site in another thread. Google it and you can see all the reviews. For us it was a little to firm, but my wife and I both like really soft beds, so we ended buying topper for it, now for me it's really really comfy. With the topper and the mattress were still under what a new "name brand" mattress would cost.
