Doesn't sound right to me either. When planting, I tend to wander to both sides of the marker, so I should end up with the same acres, regardless of how far I wandered from the marker. Now if you drive crooked enough, you should end up with more distance in each row. Austosteer should straighten it out and give you less acres.
