Subject: Inflation and the stock market

northwest tennessee
If at some time we do start to see real inflation, will the stock market show this too in an increase in stock prices? Looks like if it does and at some point the inflation cools off and things start to come back into more real life terms that seems to be the point to pull out. Is this close to being right or not. What I am thinking is I know things are shakey looking now but if inflation is on the way folks with retirement accounts in the market should hang in and get the ride up. I realize with inflation it takes more dollars to buy the same goods but if, and there is the if, you could pull out at the right time before the market readjusts you could come out ahead.
