Southeast Colorado | Don't forget that when the market becomes somewhat irrational you can throw your fundamentals under the bus. Look at what the wheat market has done the last couple of weeks in the midst of a pretty good wheat harvest. The wheat has gained almost a dollar on the board (only 70 cents for the farmer when you factor in basis lost). Some will say it is because of Canada or overseas problems but irregardless of that our carryover has moved up substantially at the same time prices are moving up. | |
