Ontario | Yes, waited for round numbers many times and missed the mark!
It depends how important the sale is for you. If the cash is needed fairly importantly to pay bills, I have sold many times at a couple cents below the round number to make sure the sale gets made.
If the sale is not as crucial and you want to play a bit, waiting and trying for the round number is fine.
Have found that round numbers do seem to work fairly well, when you place a market order for a price, and you have lots of time to fullfil it! (And then evaluate every couple of weeks if the order has not hit: Is the market is getting closer? OR Is it going opposite of what you were looking for!) | |
