| What is going on in the rice market that is forcing it down? More production planted somewhere (either in U.S. or abroad?) I cannot imagine that demand for rice has slowed down, but have been surprised before! How is the rice basis working this year compared to in the past? I'm not familiar with the rice market, but am interested in understanding what is going on - In looking at the chart, it does not differ greatly from a corn chart. Trended down to the end of June & put in a low that seems to be recovering over the last 9 days - not as dramatically as corn, but still similar - I also assume the funds are not as active in the rice market?
