Galahad, Alberta | Sprouting, frost damage, green kernels (immature when sprayed/harvested), weathering (shrunken/faded from too much rain on a mature plant). I wish that wheat buyers would move to a more scientific means to grade wheat, but "here" in Canada, it is still largely a visual inspection. Moisture, weight, Px, and falling number should be the only factors to grade my wheat, but colour and look of the kernel still determine my price "here".
