South Central Kansas, Harper County | I wish somebody would explain this wheat market to me. After the report, I figured corn could possibly lead wheat a little higher, but the past few trading seasons, Wheat has been the leader, and corn the follower. Not very friendly numbers from the report for the wheat, but it has shown more consistent strength than corn or beans. I kind of figured since it was the lowest price, that perhaps funds jumped in and thought it "deserved" to be bought for a few sessions, but if this early morning strength carries into todays trade, there must be something else driving the wheat market. Any ideas? |
