I have 50% (of 10 year average yield) protected with a long Dec 11 $4 put and short Dec 11 $4.40 calls. Cost me 4 cents. It puts a $4 floor under a good chunk, and didn't cost me and arm and a leg. Bad part is, the short calls are margninable which can add emotion, but when I sell calls, I pray to get exercised because then I am selling the other half of my production at a great price.
I am continuing to try and lock in N costs for next year also.
What are your feelings about Roach report on 2011 $ 12 sales?
