We should see a down day on Friday since we could not break above the downtrend line. We went up and touched it, and then failed during the trading day on Thursday.
It appears Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Iowa, and parts of Missouri are going to see flooding rains from the remanants of Hurricane Alex. Will the markets see these flooding rains as bullish or bearish? I am not really sure. Keep in mind, this is a holiday weekend and markets are closed on Monday as America takes July 5th as their holiday.
Soybeans are getting very close to becoming extremely interesting. The invitations to the party have been extended, the decorating has started, and the band is warming up. I am still looking for the official time for the party to start. We should get some clarity within the next two weeks.
(SIDENOTE) I did purchase some Bank of America and Citigroup this morning.
Said it once we will go above the downtrend line. We should see CZ in the $4.25 area by before the end of August. |
