Lapel, In
Friends:
A number of you have suggested that we get together to talk about risk
management, etc. Give everyone a chance to ask questions and dig a little
deeper into some of the thought processes and decision making tools we
use.
To this end, I am inviting you to attend our first:
"TIME...TECHNOLOGY...and FRIENDS" seminar.
This will be a one day event starting at 8am and ending at around 3pm.
A detailed agenda will follow but we will spend about 4 hours on our risk
management plan for the rest of 2010 and 2011. We'll review tools,
decision triggers, and even a segment on mistakes and faulty thought
process.
Rodney, my partner who handles all our GIS and fertility plans, will
update you on our fertility and cover crop programs in 2010, and plans
for 2011. Also, we will have short discussions on other new technology and
timing of its availability to our farms.

EVENT: "TIME...TECHNOLOGY...and FRIENDS"

DATE: JULY 6TH, 2010

TIME: 8:00am - 3:00pm

COST: $200.00 per farming operation paid at door:
RSVP required for access
Attendance will be limited to 50

LOCATION: Beck's Hybrids Conference Room
(Basement of Corporate Headquarters Building)

ALL FOOD AND BEVERAGES PROVIDED

So, you will need to email me to reserve you spot. First come, first
served as they say.

On the date, this is impossible to pick so everyone can come. We have
chosen 7/6 because it is close to the emotion charged 4 day weekend around
the 4th of July that tends to create MAJOR changes in the markets. Any
later and we would get into fair season. We are sorry if this is a bad
date for you.

I am really looking forward to spending some time with those who can attend.

Ken

e mail me for his address if interested- [email protected]

I cannot attend as that is the day of my heart proceedure, but Ken asked me to tell anyone who might be interested in attending that would add to the discussion and I know some of you have a high respect for Ken as I do.If nothing else, I guarantee Ken will make you think. bob

Monitor: I hope this is not outside the perameters of use for AT since there is a fee involved.
