West central IL has been wetter than most areas ... seems corn got in early and looks real good, though I have seen many fields with a lot of short yellow corn, presumably got too wet for too long. It was too wet to get in to spray corn for awhile ... good looking field by me has a lot of grass.

We are near a record for June rain ... now have a week of dry coming, after several days hot and dry and then a rain. I'd guess almost all beans are in that are going in. Soybeans got in late May mostly ... wetter areas later. Most are close to canopy. Many bean fields have weeds, and just finally had enough dry to get them sprayed. Pre-emergent treated fields look pretty clean.
