I would try to find out what finish type it is first. I would guess it is a Laquer finish, the carpenter would use this because it dries faster than other products. very common in the bussiness. I doubt the blushing is from heat, more from steam or a humid condition. Laquer will blush in humid condition. Heat will darken the finish. Just use some steel wool or very fine sandpaper to clean door up. Then use a can of spray laquer to recoat after sanding just the finish lightly. Should work. I have run a cabinet bussines for 13 years and this is my thuoght. Just an Idea.
