Mascoutah, Illinois | What do you think reported acres will be next week when the USDA releases its report? The released numbers at the end of March were 88.8 million corn acres and 78.1 million bean acres.
I believe corn will be bumped up to 90.5 and beans reduced to 76.4. I believe the report will do little to send prices higher as we continue to be in a downtrend since the mid January highs.
My take is the preharvest, harvest low in corn will be around $3.25 in the September contract.
What is everybody's thoughts?
