North Central Illinois | I can't disagree with most of what you say. You really have to watch these fast food dives anymore. They offer all of those "value" or "combo" meals that run in that six to eight dollar range. Not only are those way over priced but they have way more fat and calorie laden food in them than anyone needs at one sitting. If you look at some of the menus you can still eat pretty cheap. I think you can get a double cheeseburger, small fries, and a small drink at McDonalds for about $4.00 or less. Really that is all I need and it fills me up. If I'm going to spend $8 or more per person on a meal I'll go to a locally owned pub or diner. I hate fast food but occasionally stoop to that level. | |
