West Central Alberta Coldest, wettest edge
Farmerbyron, Have you bought anything electronic, any automobile, any farm inputs( relative to two years ago especially) any urban real estate, borrowed any money, or sold any commodities, and not just in the ag sector? About the only thing that I see going up is gov spending, and and as a result, inevitably taxes, which as explained well elsewhere on this board, is deflationary. If the feds really succeed in breaking the economic laws which govern the cycles( all governed by human nature), and somehow solve the problems of too much debt with even more debt, and return us to inflation, it would be a miracle. Actually, I think it would be much worse than a miracle in that it will set us up for an even bigger fall when the chickens come home to roost the next time and we eventually have to work through this mountain of debt at every level from personal, business, municipal, state, and federal, not to mention world.
