States and locals are kind of a wreck...thus the easy fix? put it on the land rather than cutting spending.
$100 to $200 per acre land taxes in generally the higher production and land value areas? could happen. Justification will be that commodity prices are great thus the land can bear the extra expenses ( only 20 to 25 bu of corn at $4 to $5 ) .
Changes the Whole diametric for a time ( all it really does is buy some time though, then the inevitable spending cuts anyway ).
States need the dough so they can "trickle it back down supposedly" thus help folks take care of that land. LOL.
