I'm sure this sounds old, but I really think the pit trading is really better. The whole idea is market discovery, not how easy it is to trade, or how much we can value a "seat", or how much money the CBOT can make. Is it not now a "for profit" company?

Just as the derivatives have created a "monster" with no real value of their own, the grain markets are their own profit center, instead of an international price discovery system.
