Why? We currently use a NTRIP Client that is connected directly to a CORS Network via the internet and don't have connectivity/data issues? Does the Slingshot Modem have issues with connecting to a CORS without the Slingshot Server?
We did have issues with our distance from the CORS Network. It appears that issue was solved by programing a preset location into the NTRIP Client. Can a dealer program a preset location into the Slingshot Modem?
"There actually is quite a bit of infrastructure that you get access too that is well worth the CORS subscription price." What additional value can I expect if all I care about is getting correction data from the CORS Network to my GPS receiver?
"Go ahead and try out other methods" I am willing to try other methods to avoid a subscription that seems unnecessary. Do you know of a dealer or someone at Raven that has a really good understanding of the P300 and Slingshot Modem? Email is in profile if you would like to communicate offline.
I am planning to purchase another RTK Receiver before harvest and would really like to determine if the Raven product will meet our expectations. If I cannot make that determination, I will add another Trimble 262.
