Just amazes me that folks are surprised that corn is going in the tank when we had an incredibly huge crop last year, lots of corn carryover, most folks got planted in a timely manner if not early, most farmers decided to plant MORE corn this year, doesn't matter if there was quite a bit that had to be replanted, plenty of moisture in most of the belt, rain makes grain and now corn is below cost of production. Amazing isn't it!!!

Only chance of a good price now is a catastrophic weather event but I don't see that happening. Hopefully when farmers go to refinance next year, the banker just laughs at them when they say they want to plant corn, but don't see that happening either.

You would think we would learn that we are responsible for out own actions.
