| There is one piece of market news that I have not seen published at all until today and I am very surprised that it took this long to hit. If this oil slick hits shipping lanes in the gulf the basis is going to hit the skids pretty good. With hurricane season under way its only a matter of time before a storm brews up and it blows it that way. I have heard that ships will have to stop and get cleaned before the proceed into the "clean" water which will cause massive delays and I cant help but wonder if this mess will get large enough that it might just be a possibility that they might actually close the gulf off altogether. Its a thought let me know if I am full of BS | |
