| tns hit it on the head. Storing does not do any good unless the wheat is hedged. SRW, hedge in July 11. If basis is -40 WN10 local that is about $1.52 under the WN11 or about 13 cents per month return. Cant do that on corn or beans. If HRW you could hedge Dec 10 so if the basis is -1.50 N that would be $1.79 under the dec. On could argue the spreads cant widen out so why not go July 11 however if it stays at FC roll hedge out or if basis firms move wheat. The market will tell you what to do. Always does.
