| I think farmerbyron is saying the same thing I have been thinking. Our marketing system is changing and working against the family sized farm in favor of the "factory farm". Do you really want to see entire counties farmed by just a couple of corporate farms? I want to farm for myself, not the company. Wouldn't hurt to use the anti-trust laws that have been on the books for 100 years to bust up some of these big grain holding companies. Even all our local co-ops have joined together as "Comark" Competition is a good thing no matter what business your talking about wether it's building cars, machinery, or handling or raising grain. | |
