The prior high costs of fertilzer in the fall of 08 caused some not to fertilize/or cut back rates, along with abundant rainfall and ideal growing condtions in 09 gave the producers a decent yielding crop, but no protein. Take measures to produce protein this year if it is not too late to do so.
